C5 Accident: 14-wheeler Truck Rammed 8 vehicles on C5 road

Aside from the pileup caused on C5, Heavy rains snarled traffic in most parts of Metro Manila, forcing most of the commuters to come in late for school and work on Monday Morning.

Meanwhile, Commuters who were caught in the traffic jam expressed their rant through social networking sites.







What really happened on the unattended 14-wheeler truck?


According to Inquirer.net the dump truck loses its brakes and crashed into several vehicles around 3 AM. The dump truck was said to be carrying sand.

The truck was reportedly had an engine trouble and the driver intends to park it along a steep portion on C5 but slides backwards spilling its cargo sand which blocks several lanes and hits eight land transportation vehicles identified as; six-wheeler truck, a closed van, three taxis, a sport utility vehicle and a private sedan car.

The 14-wheeler sand cargo truck was identified wearing a plate number UNE-539 and owned by Treasure Rock Movers.

The driver of the truck and his colleague inside said to be jumped out during the scene of the accident.

The reported dead on the C5 Road Accident is the one who was driving the 6-wheeler truck and received the major fatality named “Richard Parado” A.K.A Eboy, 24 years old from Parañaque City.

The traffic almost took six hours on clearing the area by the Makati and Taguig Police and MMDA traffic personnel.
