Maine Mendoza's Twitter Account Was Hacked By Anonymous PH

The Twitter account of Maine Mendoza, popularly known as “Yaya Dub” and the other half of the phenomenal love-team AlDub, was hacked by a group claiming Anonymous Philippines on early Tuesday morning.
The Twitter Account of Maine Mendoza or Yaya Dub was hacked by the country's prominent hacker "Anonymous Philippines."
The group tweeted a series of links and messages promoting an anti-corruption protest called the Million Mask March, which will happen on November 5.

One of the tweets Anonymous PH posted, says sorry for dropping by on Maine Mendoza's profile and promises to return the account to the owner.

Due to surging popularity of AlDub love team, Maine Mendoza have risen to the third fastest-growing celebrity profile for September according to social networking monitoring site Socialbakers. Anonymous Philippines is a hacking group known for perpetrating cyber attacks to government websites to push its demands and concerns to government officials.

The group recently hacked the National Telecommunications Commission to support the Filipinos’ fight for faster and better Internet service.
